Santa Eulalia del Río is a municipality in the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Located in the eastern part of the island of Ibiza. In Muslim times the area was called Xarc.
With the Aragonese conquest, the division of the island into quarters similar to the current municipal organisation was modified.
Situated a mere 21 kilometers from the airport, Santa Eulalia, Ibiza's third-largest resort, holds a special place in the hearts of families and those in search of a more tranquil holiday experience. The town boasts a picturesque palm-lined promenade that stretches alongside the expansive sandy beach.
