Cala Tarida

Cala Tarida is a seaside resort on the western coast of the Spanish island of Ibiza. It belongs to the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and is located 21 km west of the town of Ibiza town. The nearest town of Santa Agnès de Corona is 5.2 miles east of the resort.

Nestled within a sandy and secluded bay on Ibiza's west coast, surrounded by hills adorned with pine trees, lies the charming retreat of Cala Tarida. Its elongated beach, showcasing fine, sun-kissed sand, faces southward, basking in sunshine from dawn to dusk. The beach is framed by crystalline turquoise and azure waters, setting the stage for some of the island's most breathtaking sunsets.

Cala Tarida sits in close proximity to San Antonio, easily reachable via a fifteen-minute bus ride or, if preferred, a short trip on one of the frequent ferry boats. From San Antonio, a reliable bus service connects to the rest of the island, while the capital, Ibiza Town, is just a thirty-five-minute drive away.

In contrast to livelier resorts, Cala Tarida offers a tranquil and serene alternative. While lacking in nightclubs, the area boasts charming bars and eateries, including beachside restaurants that offer delightful views of the shoreline.
